Here’s my poetic contriBLUEtion to the conversation. (I have no idea why the two images won’t line up. We’ll just let a wonky poetry form have a wonky look on the page.)
Heidi has this week’s Poetry Friday Roundup at my juicy little universe and reminds us that small things can be enormous. Let’s carry that vibe forward.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Both made me laugh — perfection!! Thanks for your contribluetion this week!!

Mary Lee’s poems are
possibly perfect and
right on the mark!
Harris and Walz are the
only alternative–
we can’t let our country
go downwards and dark.

Well played, Buffy! I’m honored to have been Double Dactyled by you!

Thanks, Mary Lee. Felt like a conversation that needed a reply. And your comment made me look and realize that my rhythm was off, so of course I had to fix it!

The choice is clear, for sure. As someone who doesn’t expect *anybody* to be perfect (and knows that what would be perfect for me wouldn’t be perfect for you, and vice versa), I am eager to vote blue.

ContriBLUEtion hee hee hee! I’m glad you shared these out. I’d like to try some double dactyls in this vein but I feel that maximum fun may already have been reached! I’ll write some postcards instead.

Oh, I’m writing postcards TOO! Have about half of my 100 addressed. Next up, the messages.

Oh, I had to try, Mary Lee. I love your double-dactyls, and then, Buffy, I love yours, too. Cheerleaders unite! Here’s what I did:
Naturally admirable,
Then uncontestable;
The words you have given
Make my eyes smart.
If wishes were horses,
we’d have more divorces
amongst Maga voters,
who’d ride off to depart.

Mary Lee, I’m on the side of blue with you. Unfortunately,y husband and son are Trumpies because they think on a different level than me. At least I have PF friends to talk to about the election. Your double dactylls are fun to read. Go Blue!

Oof. That must be rough for you to be on a different page from your husband and son. Nevertheless, you get to vote your conscience and beliefs — and every blue vote counts towards saving democracy!

Such joy in this post, Mary Lee! A perfect contriBLUEtion. So sorry for the way Ohio has recently been dragged through the mud.

It’s awful. I just hope that the whole thing keeps blowing back on the Magas and reminds people (yet again) what vile racists they are. And I hope that SUPPORT for the folks in Springfield smothers all the hate.
