Hello, hello, hello, 💙 your poem and the “Hello, doe, bounding across the path in front of me,” I can feel a couple leaves bristling by… and that strong ending. Have fun flying by on your bike!

I sat down to read this just after returning from my first bike ride of the season. I was super cranky because I don’t enjoy riding my bike (but I do sprint triathlons so I need to do at least some training). Your poem was exactly the perspective I needed this morning!

Hello, Mary Lee. Thank you for opening my eyes on a scenario that could happen on the way home for me. We have to be careful when driving because the deer family is always jetting our from the woods. In the fall, there was one that was left on the edge of the grass for several days. Your ending did shock me even though there may have been inclinations of trouble. Gratitude for your poem!
